  Katherine's Cleaning

Does Your Housekeeper Pass the Test?

When it comes to choosing a housekeeper, one must consider far more than a random individual who can successfully wield a mop or broom.  A wary parent will not hire a complete stranger to care for his/her child merely based on the fact that the caretaker is available on Saturdays and knows how to operate a microwave.  Conversely, a bevy of critical factors is weighed in determining the care of one's beloved children; and the individual tending your private domain and assuming responsibility for your costly valuables should be given no less scrutiny.  A dutiful eye, good organizational skills, a reputable character, and an impressive résumé of experience are among the least of the "items" that should be on your checklist when contemplating your household care.

Is Your Housekeeper . . . .

  • Mindful of your agenda by keeping within an appropriate time frame?
  • Reliable to show up when scheduled?
  • A competent, experienced, and dedicated cleaner?
  • Trustworthy beyond any doubt?
  • Respectful of your privacy in every way?
  • Geared toward securing your complete satisfaction?
  • Armed with a true willingness to serve?
Honest in all her dealings with you?
Comfortably and prudently paced vs. hasty and accident-prone?

Does Your Housekeeper . . . .

  • Oblige your unique requests rather than dismiss them as unimportant?
  • Extend occasional courtesies just to let you know she truly cares?
  • Leave you with a great "gut feeling" and a sense of personal calm?

As you see, there is so much more to consider than simply: "Can she clean well?" Each and every mention above is high on my priority list and is the basis for my claim:

Give me the opportunity to be your best housekeeper yet!
